Description of the group:
For over 30 years, the After Stroke Guelph Wellington Chapter has been a pillar of support for stroke survivors and caregivers in Guelph and Wellington County. Originally founded as the Stroke Recovery Association, the organization evolved in 2003 when March of Dimes Canada (MODC) launched After Stroke – a personalized stroke recovery program that helps survivors and their families navigate the path forward after a stroke. In partnership with various community organizations, the Guelph Wellington Chapter of MODC provides essential support to stroke survivors and their caregivers, fostering a sense of connection and raising awareness of services available. Whether you are a stroke survivor, caregiver, or interested volunteer, we encourage you to join our welcoming community at a future meeting or event. Together, we can provide hope and support to people impacted by stroke in our region.
